Hayden Jones didn't mean to blow up her high school gym. She just meant to graffiti it. Now she's got a felony and a one-way ticket to some glorified boarding school in the Pacific Northwest. Caldwell Academy is not a fresh start. It's a reform school with nice pamphlets and a fountain and a judge's order keeping her here. The kind of place where everyone's got a story they don't tell and a reason they can't leave. She wasn't planning on making friends. She definitely wasn't planning on Elwood Hall and a bed six feet from a boy who doesn't smile, doesn't talk, and looks at her like she's a problem he didn't ask for. She should've left it at that. She should've left a lot of things at that. Because Caldwell has rules. And the thing about Hayden Jones is she's never met one she wouldn't break - even the ones that exist to protect her.

Isbaella Callahan is the kind of girl everyone notices and not always for the right reasons. The ultimate party girl, she struts through her school with sharp words, fearless confidence, and a reputation for being mean and unapologetically rude. But behind the perfectly styled hair and biting sarcasm lies a girl with secrets no one could ever imagine. By night, she's the relentless caregiver to her younger siblings, juggling responsibilities most adults would struggle with. By day, she channels her energy into track. Fiercely loyal to her friends but merciless to anyone else, Isbaella's world is a delicate balance of chaos, courage, and the parts of herself she refuses to show anyone, until now. Rory Kavanagh is the kind of boy everyone in Ballylaggin knows and everyone seems to like. The son of a rugby legend, he's grown up with the weight of expectations on his shoulders, but he's made his own mark as a talented rugby player and all-around golden boy. Charismatic, kind, and loyal, Rory has a way of making people feel at ease, whether he's cheering on his friends or standing up for someone who needs it. But Rory's life isn't all perfect games and bright smiles. When he starts noticing Isabella Callahan, the bad girl of the town, wild, mysterious, and untouchable, he can't help but be drawn to her. She's nothing like anyone he knows, and yet something about her challenges him in ways he's never expected.

Meet Bexley Anderson, she is the coach's daughter. She has 2 older brothers and 4 younger brothers. She is not popular by any means but if you said her name people would know who she was. Her brothers are all popular even her 5 year old brothers are popular in kindergarten! She is 16 and beautiful even though she doesn't know it. Meet Jax Thompson, he is the star quarterback on his schools football team. He is gorgeous and is the guy other guys want to be and girls want to be with him. Until Bexley Anderson shows up she is the new coach's daughter. She is beautiful, she is shy, she is smart and Jax might just be falling for her. *** Just a warning: I'm aware that this book isn't very good. It goes really fast. There are spelling errors and some grammar errors too. If you see some, feel free to comment and correct me (in a nice way please) I'll fix it. There are plot holes I know. The outfits are ugly, it's just bad. Also! There is football in this book, keep in mind, that I know nothing about football! Like at all! Lastly, there is no diversity in the cast, i'm aware. and i sincerely apologize for that, I was very young when i wrote this and I googled "pretty people" and unfortunately, white people were all that came up. I didn't think anything of it. I am very sorry and will try so much harder to have diversity in my future work. And if after reading all of that, you still wanna read this book, enjoy! Anxious overachiever, Sophia Calloway, has a plan; graduate top of her class, get into a top 3 law school, keep her head down and emotions quieter. So when the University of Michigan's ice hockey team targets her in a prank gone wrong? She's ready to call campus security, drop-kick the nearest jock and move on with her structured little life. Instead, she gets Holden Zhao. Captain of the hockey team- too charming for his own good, worryingly reckless and absolutely allergic to authority. And now- assigned to her beloved library shift as punishment. Holden has never met a girl who doesn't fall at his feet. Sophia has never met a boy who makes her want to scream... and maybe kiss, all in the same breath. He calls her uptight. She calls him a menace. But the longer they're stuck together, the harder it is to pretend it's just a punishment. The less it feels like one, too. ➳♡➳ "I'm not going to kiss you, Soph." She crosses her arms defensively. "And why the hell not?" "I'm not going to kiss you," My lips graze the shell of her ear. "Until you beg me to." ➳♡➳ Slow burn. Enemies to friends to lovers. Banter like a whiplash. One anxious overachiever. One chaotic hockey captain. This was never part of the plan.

Book one in the Westbridge U series Eighteen-year-old Grace Carter has spent her life hiding from the truth of her broken home, enduring the cruelty of an alcoholic father in the small town of Willow Springs, Texas. Her only escapes are the books she reads and the cheerleading routines she uses to mask the scars of her reality. All she wants is a way out, a chance to live her life on her own terms. Enter Jaxon Reed-the charismatic, cocky captain of Westbridge University's hockey team. At 18, he's already a hockey prodigy, and everyone knows it. He's got everything-looks, talent, and the confidence that comes with it. But underneath the bravado, Jaxon carries a past that haunts him, one he's not ready to confront. When they're paired together for an English project, neither Grace nor Jaxon is thrilled. Grace sees Jaxon as just another entitled athlete, while Jaxon thinks Grace is too distant to care about. But as they spend more time together, something unexpected happens. Jaxon begins to notice Grace's hidden pain, the way she flinches at loud noises and keeps people at arm's length. Grace, in turn, starts to see the cracks in Jaxon's perfect exterior-his reliance on hockey as an escape from a past that refuses to let him go. What begins as forced proximity soon becomes something neither of them saw coming-an undeniable connection that neither of them is prepared for. As their secrets unravel, they'll discover that sometimes, the most broken people are the ones who heal each other.

He waited, perhaps how the moon waited for the sun. And I chose to ask more of it-of the ceaseless hope we held in our palms. "Give me tonight, please." "You've got tonight." It was an effortless sentence. A string of words spelling assurance, settling at the far-bottom of my chest. But only when I looked up did I realize that his eyes held the words: you've got my tomorrows, too. *** No matter how much she runs, Laura is stuck in an endless loop of her past. With a transfer of school and a curly-haired boy who seems to be wherever she goes, it's a matter of time she realizes that her universe ceases at the sight of him-and running away might have never been an option. ⤫ ⤫ ⤫ [ extended blurb inside ] [ completed - 31.05.23 ] Copyright © Abrial 2020.
