A year after rescuing his parents from the clutches of Amanda Waller and The Suicide Squad, Ben Tennyson once again finds himself running back to where he was running away from. It becomes more unavoidable having discovered the secret alliance of some forces on Earth with outer worldly connections. They are elusive, but thorough in their attempts of acquiring a rare mineral that is coincidentally - it seems - abundant on Earth. Such attempts however, would lead to the highly probable deaths of tens to hundreds of million people. Ben Tennyson, his comrades and fellow heroic allies from the Justice League will have to figure out a way to stop it all and prevent such grave consequences.
