Negan slow burn. The reader has been with Rick's group since the beginning and is in the lineup when they meet Negan. He takes an interest in her immediately, and he eventually takes her back to the Sanctuary. After what he has done to her friends, he struggles to gain her trust and love by being nice. She struggles to understand her feelings as they grow closer.
