||~ He was born to escape. She was born to understand. Somewhere between silence and stardust, they found each other ~|| Shriya lives in the shadow of fame - her father's legacy, her mother's intellect, the chaos they called love. She's never envied it. Only wondered if something calmer, steadier, could ever be hers. Lakshya built his world in fantasy, scripting action and drama while forgetting how to speak his own truth. Emotions never made sense to him until Shriya, with her delicate strength and curious soul, asks him to collaborate. She's the thinker. He's the doer. But when passion sparks, it threatens to burn through every carefully placed boundary. Between the reels and the rewrites, they make each other feel. This is not a love story. It's a story of two people trying to learn love.

Kumari Kandam - The lost continent But what if it's history wasn't lost? What if there was a book explaining it's history, but was banned from viewer discretion by the government? What if one interview could bring all back to life? What if the known would narrate? . "Your book, 'Kumari Kangam: The Final Hour', is among many works that have faced governmental bans for so-called 'controversial content.' Why do you think the government engages in what many perceive as unnecessary censorship?" "Fear," she says simply, letting the word hang in the air like smoke. "Governments, like any institution built on fragile hierarchies, fear stories that unsettle their carefully constructed narratives. Books like mine and others mentioned are dangerous because they make people think. They remind us of the power we've always had but are told to forget." . ~ "You seem to like the view," I mused, my voice cutting through the quiet. His lips pressed together in a barely-there smirk. "It would be a lie if I denied it," he admitted, his voice steady. ~ . ~ "Beneath whispering waves, a still silence gathers-waiting. When blossoms rot before they bloom, and silver shadows smile too wide, one who walks among kin shall loosen the roots. Not all floods come with rain. When the eastern wind carries salt to sleeping hills, know-what was trusted will unmake what was built." ~ . "Do you believe this book was reality?" "I know it was. It just needs proof." . [Need reviews? No problem Statements said by people who know the whole plot. "You're cruel, you know that?" "Romance is romancing in the best way possible" "You can't be serious, right? RIGHT? That's not the ending I expected" "I will kill you. Surely I will." (After hearing the ending, hehe) "Oh, to be a character in your book!"] Note to reader : - This book is a slow burn - Vote, comment, and support my book if you plan to proceed, please ❤ ~ Maya 🌷

I was born for him - To be with him, to serve him, to love him. My eyes seek only his validation. My heart beats only for his name. My hands ache to touch only his presence. My feet move only in his direction. My body bends, curves, and surrenders - only under his gaze. They say, "Without devotion, love cannot survive. And without love, devotion cannot be attained." And my devotion for him is untouched, unwavering. My heart is filled with a love that belongs only to him - The one my eyes are forever searching for. As I tied the strings of my anklets-anklets that once chimed with devotion but would ring with destruction tonight-I wrapped myself in silk, coiled my hair, and adorned it with Kanakambaram flowers. But not with love this time. Tonight, they burn with fury. When the forces of destruction shook my city-our heaven, Srirangam-with the invasion of those others, I made a decision. A choice born not from fear but fire: to show them what real devotion is. The power of love. The might of the one who seeks nothing but gives everything. When the army of Delhi Sultanate neared the temple-our divine abode-I knew what to do. I knew no mortal hand driven by violence and greed would be allowed to touch him. To see him. They did not deserve the sight. Not even a glimpse. So tonight, my legs will move. My body will curve. My lips will sing. And my hands-my hands will kill. For those who believe they can rule, who think they can take what was never theirs-I will show them what a dance of destruction truly looks like. Every yuga, when man thinks he is god, my god rises to remind them who the real one is. But this time, he is not alone. He has me. I am Vellayi. The Devadasi of Srirangam. The one they call a living goddess. But to him... I am just his simple love. All my life, I have lived, breathed, and danced for only one. To me, he is everything. What had I done? Rajveer Pratap Ranawat was a crime lord, king of the fucking underworld and I was here, in his den with nothing but a notepad and a pen. His presence was suffocating, bone chilling. "You think you can uncover my secrets, Miss Sharma?" His voice was a low, dangerous rumble, sending a shiver down my spine. "You're playing a dangerous game." I squared my shoulders, trying to muster the same bravado that had carried me into this lion's den. "I'm not playing," I retorted, my voice betraying a hint of defiance laced with unease. "I'm here for the truth, no matter how deep it runs." A predatory smile tugged at the corners of his lips, his dark eyes gleaming with something that sent a chill through me. "Oh, I know your kind," he murmured, taking a slow step closer until his presence enveloped me. "Bold on the surface, trembling underneath." "I'm not afraid of you," I insisted, though the way his fingers brushed against my arm sent a jolt of electricity through me. His expression hardened, his grip tightening just enough to convey his power. "You should be," he whispered, his breath hot against my cheek. "In my world, fear is survival." His eyes bore into mine with a primal intensity, a challenge and a warning wrapped into one. "You are already in deeper than you realize," he murmured, his voice softening imperceptibly. "And now that you are in, there is no turning back." The room seemed to close in around us and then is when I realised that I had stepped into a dangerous game-one where the lines between adversary and attraction blurred dangerously, threatening to consume me in ways I never imagined possible. "And you, my Dove," Rajveer's voice cut through the thick silence like a blade, chilling me to the core. His tone held a possessive edge, cold and commanding. "look like you are meant to be mine. And what is mine," he paused, his dark eyes boring into mine with an intensity that sent a shiver down my spine, "stays with me."
