Marcel Styles was the typical nerd. Nobody knows anything about his background, because all they know is that he is a loser and basically a punching bag. Autumn Aswell gets along with everyone and everyone at school know what there is to know about her. Her brother bullies Marcel and so does his friends. She is against bullying and stands up for Marcel when she feels bad for him. Other than that, Autumn absolutely despises Marcel Styles. He tattle tales and that's one of the reasons why he gets bullied. Autumn soon learns more and more about Marcel and gets to know the real him, but something may come in between them, or someone.

Marcel is your stereotypical nerd; he has thick glasses, and wears collared shirts, vests, ties and dark trousers and even wears his hair slicked back. When he was a child, he was abused by his parents, until the teachers took notices to his bruises and then they just simply neglected him. However, the abuse still occurred at school. His life was miserable--until he met Nellie. With her help, he began to gain confidence. He was on top of the world, until she had to leave him for a few months when her mother became terminally ill. He was left alone and the abuse returned. It was then that Marcel changed...but did he change for the better or for the worse?
