As a Muslim girl, marriage is one of Safia's biggest dreams. All her life she kept herself pure for her faith and her future husband. Although having never had experienced love, and occasionally doubting whether she will, Safia feels herself growing impatient being single. She then sends her family to search for 'the one.' Trusting her family, she decides to say yes to the first person her family finds for her. She believes she will get married and face all her problems with her husband by her side. Is it really as simple as that? Yusuf feels a void in his heart. He tries to deny it, but he knows his mother's not proud of him. He knows she wishes he could be a little more modern like his brother. He wanted his family to find him a wife while he could focus on his deen (faith), but his idea of a wife clashes with his mother's. Seeing that his family were struggling to find him someone he likes, he decides to take matters into his own hands. But is he rushing into decisions without thinking?

What would you do if kidnapped, at knife-point, by a mysterious individual? What if your heart stopped every time he gripped your wrist and your cheeks flushed every time his murderous eyes gazed upon you? Would you turn to logic or emotion? Would you reject your captor outright, or would you descend into the abyss of his insanity? I ask myself these questions. My name is Rena. Here is a sneaky peak of my story..... "Jowell!" Nicole screamed. I was shacking with fear. She packed quite a scream. Seconds later the door to the other side of the room flew open, and two men in black came rushing in, one following behind the other. I didn't get a good look at them as I made a quick escape to the door that led to my freedom, or at least I think it did. My eyes flew wide open as I heard heavy footsteps following behind me, I ran towards the door ahead of me as fast as my legs would take me. "If you take another step, I can assure you will regret it!" the same man shouted menacingly. His voice was oh so familiar but I couldn't put a face to it, not now. I contemplated for a second if I should carry on running or not. No! I said to myself. I was going to escape so I continued running despite the fear of what would happen if I got caught. Detective Castillo is onto this case, hints and clues is what he lives for, can he solve the mystery behind Rena's disappearance? Or will he rely on his colleagues? What ever the outcome Castillo has reasons for not backing out, reasons for his choice at this job in the first place. Read more to find out Enjoy:)
