(No war fanfiction) Harry just wants to be left alone. He wants everyone to stop praising him and disappear. Just like it used to be. It's the same for Draco Malfoy, the castle "bully". What happens when these two dorks see each other for the first time at the sorting ceremony? When they are only just 11 years old, their minds are without bias against Houses, and Harry is sorted into Ravenclaw. Meanwhile Draco is still in Slytherin, however it is without outside influences, such as his father and mother. The two find each other's eyes in the sea of people, just by chance, and.... (I am changing this fanfiction. What this was before was very inappropriate of me to make. I described unhealthy habits in an inaccurate manner. I decide to rewrite this fiction with a brand-new plot. We will see how this goes. I apologize to anyone who had read this before this major edit and enjoyed it more then.) (**there will still be manipulative Dumbledore, some Weasleys and other influences like Harry's relatives.)

Harry James Potter is 15 years old and has endured more tragedy than most Wizards in their 70's. It seems inevitable that the Gryffindor would one day snap. Will one man be able to save the Boy Who Lived before it's too late? Will Harry ever know what it is like to live in a loving home, a place where he's wanted? (Trigger Warning: Suicidal thoughts/Actions, mentions of Self Harm, mentions of abuse) "I used to dream about it but never schemed or counted on fantasies or wishes- it breaks a man to see what he misses So many nights I'd pray for a better life, a better day but I never thought that it'd come true now that it's here, I don't know what to do and I'm trying not to cry This must be how it feels to have a home" -Excerpt from To Have a Home, by Darren Criss-
