It is a new take and sets the stage for two following books that are already in the works. This is a transformative work based on the Harry Potter franchise by J.K. Rowling and Portkey Games Hogwarts Legacy. Consider this first book a fresh look at the game through an original lense presented in a literary format. The two books we have in the works following this one will be uncharted territory. *** What to Expect: Miss Darling comes from a mysterious but clearly dubious upbringing that makes her a far cry from your typical Hogwarts student. She is very much an anti hero who engages in a lot of questionable behavior but strives to at least try to be a decent person. It is a rotating third person perspective where we will see things through the eyes of many different characters. The story primarily focusses on the Slytherin trio of Darling, Sebastian and Ominis. This is rated mature for violence. While there are some crushes confused and slow burning relationships typical for adolescence our protagonists have quite a bit on their plate so this is first and foremost and action adventure.

Rachel Bennett, a proud member of Slytherin House, has saved Hogwarts and the Wizarding World from the goblin rebellion. She absorbed the repository but lost her mentor in the process. Orphaned at a young age and new to the Wizarding World, Rachel tries to uncover the source of her mysterious ancient magic powers that are evolving possibly into something dark, dangerous and evil. All while battling her romantic feelings for her best friend, Sebastian Sallow, who seems to have gone missing. Can Rachel find her way in this new world and, most importantly, find herself? This story is a fanfiction continuing the story from the end plot of the Hogwarts Legacy game with the main female character named Rachel Bennett. It is a Sebastian love story at heart but there are plenty of other juicy details included. It is essentially a coming of age story about a young girl discovering who and what she is in the world so if you're looking for nonstop smut you've come to the wrong place... but there is plenty of drama, young love, action, fluff, steam, trauma, slow burning, love triangle, misdirection and mystery with a little spice thrown in between!
