《NEW》Sans ends up somehow traversing into another AU by the name of Abysstale. He meets another alternate version of himself. Sans instantly becomes friends with this alternate version of himself, or Abyss. And now they have so many adventures together.

When Ink is exploring the au's, he stumbles upon a new au where he meets a new friend named Nightmare. The both of them create a close bond, and Nightmare explains how the villagers mistreats him and how they treasure Dream. Ink knew Dream for awhile, but Dream never mentions Nightmare. One day Nightmare had enough of the villagers and ate the apple of negativity and leaves Dreamtale empty. When Ink comes to visit Nightmare, he sees that everyone is disappeared, and so did Nightmare. Not mention Dreams new and unusual behaviour towards Ink. Two identities meet. One a positive,. The other, a negative. Nightmare had made a deal, but during this time, Nightmare was currently in a war with the Star Sanses.

Nightmare lost everything. Everyone left him the moment he showed weakness, even though that was when he needed them the most. Killer stayed. Killer wouldn't leave him. Killer would always be by his side. He had sworn to do it. So Nightmares figures were gone except for the king and queen, had either defected to the opposing side or simply left. Dream clearly had the upper hand in this game. But nobody expected outside interference. The only question was which side they swear their loyalty to.
