Following the death of Neteyam, Aonung couldn't help but doubt in what he believes. For if she truly was as great and all powerful as he was taught to believe, why didn't she spare him? Neteyam needs to find a way to make his family whole again. They are drowning in sorrow, and he can't save them. There has to be a way for him to return, a way for him to help. And maybe, the answer to his prayers resides in the one family member who still doesn't know what she is.

This story alternates between different POVs. I know it's not cannon, but I like to fantasize that Aonung and Neteyam had a secret relationship during the movie The Way of Water. This mini story is about that, while the movie concentrates on Tsireya and Lo'ak's relationship, my story focuses on the secret relationship that Aonung and Neteyam hid from everyone. The Sully's have to move because their father Jake wants his family near his work place. All the Sully's are nervous and some of them a bit sad to leave so much behind. But they quickly form new relationships with the mayor's children next door, who happen to be future classmates to the Sully kids. Some of them have trouble adjusting to their new home and go through lots of personal stuff. Because of that and their close relationship with each other, they always say that no matter what, the Sully's must stick together.
