I clutched my bridal saree tightly and sat nervously on the flower-decorated bed. My throat felt dry as I swallowed hard. I was about to lift my veil when the door creaked open. My eyes instantly darted toward him. He stepped in, removed his kurta casually, and came to sit in front of me. My heart pounded. I shut my eyes, but within moments, he gently lifted my veil. "Ankhein kholo," he whispered. Slowly, I opened my eyes. He was even more handsome than I had imagined-fairer than me, with eyes so deep and mesmerizing that they held me captive. My breath caught when he said softly, "Takane ke liye poori umar padi hai... abhi so jaaye." Embarrassment flushed my cheeks, and I lowered my gaze to my toes. But then he held my chin tenderly, guiding my eyes back to him. "Jaakar kapde badal lo," he said gently. I nodded, quickly rising to my feet. As soon as I stepped into the bathroom, I exhaled a long, shaky breath. Tonight was the first time I had seen him so closely... and yet, he was so unexpectedly gentle.

She came to Devgarh broken, carrying silence where her voice should have been. He was the Sarpanch-feared, distant, and a man who never crossed his own lines. What begins as protection slowly turns into something neither of them names... until care becomes habit, presence becomes comfort, and love grows quietly between them. This is not a story of saving. It is a story of choosing-again and again. A love built on respect, restraint, and the courage to stay. ~~~ 𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐒: Soft Romance Dark Themes Set in the 1980s Age Gap (25 × 30) Rural Royalty Rescuer Hero × Survivor Heroine Protective & Possessive (Healthy) Powerful Man × Quiet Strength Devotee Hero × Devotee Heroine Slow Burn Romance Found Family Feminine Power Rising Courtroom Justice Arc

𝑳𝑬𝑮𝑨𝑪𝒀 𝑶𝑭 𝑳𝑶𝑽𝑬 : 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝑶𝒏𝒆 In a world where shadows of the past loom large, I find myself entwined in a marriage I myself had said 'yes' for. Because I can never be a mother. Never. And he himself had agreed that he had no problem with it. I was so happy the day I thought - maybe, my life could come back on track. Like a fairy tale. But, I don't know what went wrong after our marriage. Karthik Yadav, the enigmatic heir to a powerful empire, who exudes an icy demeanor that hides a turbulent soul - turned TURBULENT towards his wife too. His coldness cuts me deeper than any wound ever could. Then one day my sister-in-law tells me - he used to love another girl before our marriage and maybe he is in love with her even now and that's my BREAKING POINT. My heart is shattered into pieces, in a way that no one will ever be able pick it up and mend it again. My life is RUINED. Atleast that's what I think. Little did I knew - beneath his harsh exterior lies a heart burdened by secrets-secrets that mirror my own. In this twisted tale of pain and longing, will we be able to break the chains of our past and find solace in each other, or are we destined to remain strangers in a marriage built on silence?
