After Miu Takami's parents were arrested, the girl discovered a truth that would change her life forever. Her Uncle, Keigo Takami, otherwise known as the pro hero Hawks and the only actual parental figure Miu ever had, saved her from the years of abuse she endured at the hands of her parents. Keigo and the Hero's Public Safety Commission worked together to begin her training to become a hero. However, due a quirk defect that she was discovered to have at age 10, the Safety Commission deemed her a failure and cast her away. Keigo, however, stayed by her side and cut all ties with the Commission just for her. For this, she loved him. And now, years later, she aims to be a hero for 2 reasons. 1. So she can make people feel safe and give them hope, just like Hawks did for her. 2. So she can prove to the Commission that they were wrong about her. --- TLDR: Miu Takami has lived with her Uncle ever since her parents were arrested.
