I never had any intention of becoming a fledgling... And definitely not one in a world where day and night are ruled by the vampires; a world where the sun doesn't affect them like all the myths and legends say it does, in a time where some vampires are good and others are worse than the devil himself. When I was human I never wanted to be a vampire, I never wanted to join this dark world of blood and passion and undying loyalty... But when the choice is death or the eternal love of a mate, I would be a liar to say the latter isn't more appealing. If I had known how this would change everything, would I have chosen differently? Had I known how my fidelity would be tested, could I have chosen another way? What about you? What would you have chosen?

She's amazing, beautiful, funny.... perfect. That's what she is to me. I have been in love with this girl since I started to like girls. She stole my heart and I haven't had the chance to get it back. Not that I'd want it back... exactly. I could see a happily ever after crap wth her. She was my happy ending, as cliché as that sounds. My only problem.... she's my best friend's sister.
