Luz thought it was finally time to leave the Boiling Isles and go back home. Once she got back, Camila didn't agree with her sneaking off for the Summer, so she sent Luz to what she thought was a Discipline School, but it wasn't. They lied, and Camila sent her child there. Years later when Luz was finally out, she couldn't bear to look at her mother. She grabbed her things while she was at work, and ran back to the portal, leaving her mother for possibly forever.
