Carmody is friends with Sarah, a girl who has a rather special friend of her own named Stanley. That friend is a Steam Dragon, a creature who had arrived in their world by complete accident. Only the two girls can see Stanley, and he treats them as his best friends. Which would be fine except for one big problem. A short romantically themed story I wrote about some of the characters from Millie the Gunsinger when they take a day off and visit the beach. When I crafted the main story, I began to feel that I had inadvertently created a love triangle between Millie, Twenty and Dianne. This is the moment when Dianne finally understands her feelings for her two best friends. No action but hopefully a small glimpse into the thoughts of my characters.
