Claire Harris has just moved in with her work-a-holic and love struck brother in New York, after the death of their parents. On her way to her new home, she comes into contact with an elite group of freedom fighters, the Liberos, who rebel against the government on a daily basis. Claire is intrigued by their doings and soon is lured into meeting them. But is it really the smartest thing to do; befriending the government's enemies? And what happens if she falls in love with one of them?
