After a small alteration in the original demon slayer universe, This fanfiction is based on the concept of Tomioka Giyuu interrupting Akaza after he battles Kyojuro Rengoku. The sun is delayed by several minutes, leading to the water hashira facing several massive injuries that would make some retire. The story takes some major alterations due to this fact, certain things happening and certain things not, but generally the rest of the story that isn't included in this fic with Tanjiro and the gang still occurs. (Namely the entirety of the swordsmith village arc, because I'm lazy and don't wanna cover it.) Some people would prefer he leaves, believing he is incapable or in danger with his current injuries, but unfortunately the ever stubborn Tomioka Giyuu still believes he has things to do as a slayer, and there's only one thing that would make him retire.
