Michael Clifford was always known as being loud, funny, not so punk rock, creative, and just all around Michael. His life was at a great point as he was surrounded with screaming fans, music, and the best bandmates anyone could ask for. But all too soon, it starts going downhill. The fans become more like tormentors and his best friends seem to forget all about him. What happens when they push Michael too far? Michael changes. He loses the loudness, his sense of humor, his motivation, even his personality. Michael changes so much that there is only one word that anyone uses to describe him anymore. Quiet. And who could be the one to change that? Luke Hemmings.

Michael is looking for a new start and a way to manage his anger issues when he moves back to Sydney, leaving his mum behind, and moves in with his former best friend, Ashton. "Next!" The fortune teller calls. Michael smiled sheepishly at Ashton as he pulled back the curtain, walking in and taking his seat. They didn't believe in this crap; it was a dare. The fortune teller didn't look at her ball, or even Michael for that matter. She looked past his shoulder, her hands slightly shaking as they rested on the table. "You have a dark spirit following you." Who knew from that day, Michael's world would get turned upside down, all by a dark spirit named Luke Hemmings.
