"I hate you." "Are you sure? I don't think I got a fair chance." "I am." "Are you very sure?" "Has anyone ever told you that you're full of yourself?" "No." "Well, they should." ·̩̩̥͙**•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*·̩̩̥͙ Her definition of perfect was quiet and dull. He was anything but. Theo Parker was full of life; smiles always lighting his face and a camera on him, ready to snap a photo at any given moment along with almost living at the basketball court. Smiling at anyone who looked his way. She wanted to hate him, but she couldn't find it in her to do so. He defined perfection as impossible. Until he met her. He was aware of the glares and harsh words she sent his way, but under what seemed like not so subtle hatred she was smart and caring. Camilla Moretti didn't need anyone's approval or cared about their opinions. She didn't need anyone, and he admired that. Sometimes staying is easier than leaving; but maybe leaving would've been more simple. ·̩̩̥͙**•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*·̩̩̥͙ I just wish someone would stay

She's a wild, free spirit who sees the good in everyone, and he's the hardened, bad-tempered loner who wants nothing to do with her-yet no matter how hard he tries to push her away, she's the one temptation he can't escape. *** He's never met someone with such a bubbly personality. Not to mention the wildness and odd phrases she says every five minutes. He hates it. He hates how he can't stay away from it. He hates what she does to him; it's not like him to chase after some girl. She gets under his skin like no other. She's never met someone with such a bad attitude. He's ill-mannered and menacing. The glare never seems to leave his face. Considering it all, she can't help but feel the attraction toward him. Dangerous attraction toward a seemingly dangerous man. Maybe it's the tattoos on his arm that gets her attention. Or maybe it's because she can tell there's hope for good under his rough exterior. And she's about to find it, whether he likes it or not. It's no secret that the two of them are complete and total opposites. *** "You like being called Sugar, don't you?" I tease, placing my toothbrush back after finishing. He does the same and gives me a side-eyed scowl. He grips my chin harshly and kisses me. My body temperature raises a good ten degrees and my right leg goes all wiggly. He pulls away. "You like it when I kiss you, don't you?" He teases the same way I did to him and I'm left blubbering. "I think both of our questions are rhetorical," I lower my voice up at him. His lip curls up into a smirk. *** #1 in Young Adult #9 in Badboy #1 in Cold #3 in Goodgirl #1 in Sweetheart #14 in Love *** *Warning* This story contains mature themes (language, scenes)

Sierra Lancaster has had an agonizingly mediocre life. She grew up in a happy home, made loyal friends, graduated college, and is now pursuing her dream of running her own bakery. Boring, right? A story like this wouldn't be one for the books. At least not until you bring a hot neighbour into the mix. A tall, brooding, shredded (like, wash your clothes on those abs shredded), and wildly successful sports agent. Interested yet? It gets better. Said neighbour isn't just a rando, but Sierra's childhood nemesis that made her formerly chubby days a living hell. Now we're talking, aren't we? Holden Rey has always been the golden boy. Holden...golden...you following? You'd think the bitchy universe would do its job and throw some karma his way but to no avail. Not only has he got it all, but he knows it too. He also still has it out for Sierra and resumes being a jack-ass of epic proportions (and his ass ain't his only epic proportion) as soon as he realizes who the new girl next door is. It's the same old story with these two except this time, there's unwilling attraction and sexual tension underneath all the hate. Is it just lust or does the bitchy universe actually have a plan? So maybe this story is one for the books after all. *A hilarious, enemies-to-lovers, romantic standalone. Rated 18+ due to mature content. All rights reserved to TheFeveredBookaholic.*

••• Lies, secrets, deception... but to who? Naïvety can be a subtle thing and can trip the victim at their feet unwillingly. In this case, it's gained the power of two more lives. Faye and Lucas are complicated as individuals, far more complicated than can be perceived to the naked eye. Sure, Faye is a girl living in a small town and she plays piano but she's untruthful. As for Lucas, his parents have a big reputation, he's forced into the small town but his untruthfulness has many more layers. Lies are twisted like vines but somehow misunderstandings are never uncovered. Misunderstandings do not exist within the lives of Faye and Lucas. You could consider it luck... or you could be wise and see it as skill on the behalf of Faye. In the end it won't make any difference anyway. Their ending is supposedly set in stone from the beginning- or rather, it's recorded words. Don't be naïve. ••• "I don't like liars." He deeply sighs, shaking his head with the ghost of a smirk hovering on his lips with such patronisation that it makes my skin crawl with a trail of fire. "As you've said before." "Then why are you lying?" "I don't believe I am." "Where have you been sneaking off to every Tuesday night?" I look up to him and watch the thoughts curl through his mind as if it's a movie. With one last blink, he smiles. But it's not a sweet smile, it's not a smile I enjoy looking at. It's cruel and conniving and it's the same smile I have seen ever since I met him. "And I thought we weren't getting involved with each other's business?" He steps back. A sudden panic shocks electricity through my heart. "Don't walk away from me, Lucas," I warn, watching as he begins to back away. "Answer me." "That's not something I can do." •••

18-year-old Farrah gets thrown into a whole new life with her best friend Olly. Moving half way across the world comes with complications and troubles, but undeniable joy and new experiences to thrive in. One of those experiences being meeting someone. He's arrogant and conceited, the complete opposite of Farrah. But like they say, opposites attract... right? She keeps unfolding new secrets within the professional environment where she newly works, finding out that not everyone is who they say they are. Trust is delicate, darling. -------- My thoughts are crumpled as I go flying to the floor behind me, hitting it harshly with impact. I land straight on my ass, my forearms flying to my sides to support me. The room spins slightly as I lift my gaze to try and see the cause that made me fall to the ground in front of so many people. Way to make a good first impression, now they all probably think you're a clumsy bitch who doesn't belong in this professional environment. I try to rid my fogged mind as I direct my gaze upwards, as soon as I do, I freeze. My mind doesn't take in any of my surroundings apart from the dark eyes locked with my own, sending daggers in my direction. They are a cruel grey, they look like shadows descending onto me. I never knew that the look in someone's eyes could make me so timid and afraid, I feel like prey and the predator is stood intimidatingly over me waiting for the right moment to attack again. "Watch where you're going next time, darling," the husky voice echoes off of the cold walls of the foyer, making his condescending tone rebound multiple times through my mind. I stay slouched on the floor, hands behind me as I stare up at him in shock, unable to form any words. His strident words still rebounding through me, words that were patronising and brutal. His eyes make me afraid, but his words make me infuriated.
