Katie "Blaze" Blackwood, daughter of Charlie Blackwood is a fighter pilot, much like those her mother was surrounded by when she was Katie's age. Katie got into the Navy, and became best friends with Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw, and graduated second in her class. They both ended up going to Top Gun together. One day, when she gets called back to Top Gun, she reunites with all her former classmates. What happens when her best friend comes back and everything is different. What happens, when her teacher has been in her life way longer than she thought he was, and her life gets flipped upside down. I do not own any top gun characters except Katie and her plot. Its purpose was to teach the lost art or aerial combat and to insure that the handful of men who graduated were the best fighter pilots in the world. They succeeded.
