After the loss of Bobby Nash, the 118 begins to pull itself back together, but Evan "Buck" Buckley is quietly falling apart. Afraid to care for anyone else and risk losing them, Buck distances himself from his friends, even Eddie, the man who's always had his back. But when a near-tragedy forces them to face the feelings they've both buried for too long, Buck and Eddie find themselves fighting for more than just survival. Through grief, danger, and second chances, they discover that love, like the family they've built, can withstand anything. And when the smoke clears, it's about more than what's been lost. It's about who's still standing beside you.

In the Montgomery household, nights are never truly quiet. Four brothers, William, Jamie, Aidan, and Grayson, hold together a family stitched from loss, love, and second chances. Between school fights, whispered secrets, and the chaos of growing up, their children stumble through the trials of adolescence under the watchful eyes of fathers who are still learning, themselves, how to heal. And when the day finally ends, after every argument, every stolen glance of defiance or tenderness, the house settles into a fragile peace. Quiet is the night now, but never truly still, because every heart inside it is learning how to beat as one.

I was 10 when my Mother sat me down for a talk. "Milo, I know you like him..." She paused, as if trying to pick her words right, "but he doesn't like boys like that. He likes girls." Flushed and feeling caught out, I avoid her eyes. I didn't realise it was so obvious. She gives me a sympathetic but firm smile. "So don't make him feel uncomfortable and ruin your older brothers friendship with him, okay?" 8 years later...

So to be totally honest I don't have a summary for this fic because its the first proper fanfic I've written since 2018 so tell me what y'all think. This is gonna be an angst/depression fanfic centric on Anthony LaRusso so obviously trigger warning for things like self harm and eating disorders. I did start writing the fic a while ago so I did my best to alter most of it towards season 5, if I did miss anything from the previous season you'd like in just say so because as always I'm open to suggestion. Also I'm a firm believer that Antonio is apart of the alphabet mafia so he's gonna be gay. Who for IDK??? I also have it in my head that he's an alt/ indie kid. :D P.S - I'm doing a new-ish narrative for me so I might rewrite it later :/.

"I had always fit into people's standards. Perfect. People don't tell you how much it sucks to be perfect. They expect happiness. They expect a put-together life, but my life was anything but happy and put-together. Some days were great, but more often than not I would find myself screaming into my pillow in the early hours of the morning." ~~~ Picture-perfect body, picture-perfect hair, picture-perfect friends, picture-perfect boyfriend, picture-perfect life. But is Faye's life really so perfect? Is she really what is shown in the media under the blinding lights? Is being a cover girl really that great? TW: Anorexia/bulimia, emetophobia, body dysmorphia, emotional abuse, suicide, self harm *If LGBTQ+ topics make you uncomfortable don't read this* *VERY BAD. WILL REWRITE SOON*

Between his ADHD, impulsivity, and defiance, Kason's never been the kid anyone chooses to keep. But maybe ... just maybe...there's still room in the world for someone like him and allows him to believe he is still worth love, even if he feels broken..
