Ponyboy seeks the help of his brothers, Sodapop and Darry, to cope with these feelings and gain the courage to tell Johnny that he likes him. Johnny seeks the help of Dallas Winston to do the same thing. Along the way, secrets are revealed, and the boys have to learn to accept themselves and finally be together.

we both love the outsiders and johnnyboy so why not write oneshots about them?! the au we're going to mostly be using is that they're living in our time (still the same setting). here's some details about it: • ages: darry - 23, soda - 19, pony - 17, johnny - 16, dally - 20, steve - 20, two-bit - 21 and a half. (we upped everyone's ages by 3 except johnny, because we originally upped pony's by 3. so we made it fair) • dally lives alone with his two puppers :') their names are booper (a sheltie + corgi mix) and waffle (a dachshund)! (he's a college drop out, but has a paying job) • darry is a college graduate and has a job that he loves. soda, steve, and two bit are still in college and are living with their families. • pony and johnny are, of course, in high school. • everyone's families are the same. (except maybe the fact that their parents are willing to pay for school. idk if they don't in the book) • everyone's personalities are the same.
