John Upjohn finds a trail of footprints in the snow, leading away from the door of his house. But John Upjohn is the only person in his house. So, he decides to follow the footprints.

Sophie and Louis meet when both of their cars are part of a three car pileup due to the carelessness of a drunk driver. Louis is loud and happy, but something is haunting him.
