This boy wasn't guilty. I knew he wasn't. Not my Julian. Julian was a sweetheart. Maybe he did. Maybe he had a lapse in judgement. I didn't care. I loved Julian. His face was so ashamed walking into that courtroom. I didn't care. I loved him. I always would. Now as he walked out, his face was still ashamed, but a little more relieved. I kissed his cheek softly and grabbed his hand, but didn't say a word. If he wanted to talk, I'd be here for him. He knew that. We tried to dodge the reporters as tears streamed down his face. No comment. No comment. No comment. No comment. As we got in the car I looked at Julian softly. We started to drive. "I love you Julian," I said, squeezing his hand reassuringly. "I love you too," he said with a small smile. "LOOK OUT JULIAN!" I screamed. But it was too late. And just like that, everything was black.
