"You're atheist," I remind him. "You don't believe in god." "I believe in you," He murmurs, letting the cigarette hang from his lips. "I believe in whatever you believe." He says, letting the confession roll off his tongue as if it were that simple. As if god, the devil, heaven, hell-as if none of it really had meaning to him. "That's not how it works," I mutter as we walk down a few more alleyways-the city of Manhattan coated in a light blanket of snow. Henry Vitiello had never had anything to pray for, that is, until he met me-the only thing that had ever opened his mind up to the possibility of religion "Isn't it?" He argues, taking the cigarette by his middle and pointer finger before blowing the smoke out. "I'II dip my hands in holy water if it means I could touch you." "You'd probably burn." 𓆩♡𓆪 𝐇𝐄𝐍𝐑𝐘 𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐎, the reaper. He's a prick. An asshole. A pretentious son of a bitch. He's not perfect. He's not even decent. But he's hers. Two families best kept secrets collide in a moment of fate itself. The Prince of Bronwyn and the Legacy of the Cardinals. Neither should exist. Both highly frowned upon and cursed for their very existence. A broken product of royal affair and the perfect unknown ploy for revenge. The weight of either alone would be enough to drive anyone mad, but together it may become something else entirely. Both such highly damaged individuals stretched to their wits end. What could the result be of one in the presence of the other? A disaster just waiting beneath the surface, a mix potent enough to kill, or maybe a cure neither one saw coming?

edit 3/9/23 I wrote this when I was 12 so please disregard the age-old "I'm not like other girls" trope and anything else ok thanks 🤓🤓 "They say the Woodland King's voice makes the rivers flow fast, and his claws could shred men into ribbons of flesh and bone." Every one hundred years, the feared Woodland King captures an unfortunate human from the kingdom of Llewellenar to serve him until their death. Nocte Defunctorum...also known as Night of the Dead. One night of every twenty years vampires can come into the human world and take Potential Mates. Audrina Knight has every intention of staying human, and not getting invovled with vampires...unlike her best friend and classmates. She wears a simple mask, invisible to all but herself, and keeps the bullshit away. But just when she thinks she's safe, she is brutally taken from everything she knows and loves and thrust into a world of dark fantasy she could have never imagined. Forced to compete for the love of the vampire prince himself, Nicholai Romano, Audrina must find a way to escape this world before she irreversibly becomes apart of it. But what happens when Audrina actually starts to have feelings for this cruel prince? Enjoy the heavy metal shackled to her wrist and the rough kisses that could literally kill her? Even worse...will she go against Girl Code 101 and compete with her best friend for the love one wants and one detests? Full of twists and turns, Forever Dead is filled with love, hate, murder, sex and everything else in between, if there is anything. But the real question is, do all stories have a happy ending, because in this world, being dead doesn't necessarily mean forever...

Over the years the Sisters have stopped numerous assasintination attempts by King Narcissus, the ruler of a immortal race of giants whose kingdom borders their own. During the latest attept, however, one of the Sisters manages to kill their attacker proving finally that the Deathless ones can in fact die. With this, the queen comes up with an idea to be rid of her enemy once and for all. Demetria offers herself as a willing bride...and sends Sunflower instead with the promise that should she succeed in murdering King Narcissus, she and her Sisters will be set free of their servitude. If she can make it back alive. "Sunflower" is a loose retelling of the Hades and Persephone myth inspired by all the many versions of the story that mention Persephone playing with nymphs in her mother's gardens before being stolen away.

The kingdom of Bayfell requires that every male and female must marry after he or she turns sixteen. Of course, not everyone loves this law, but the kingdom's population is dwindling. The Claiming is a ceremony in which one young man writes down the name of three women of his choosing, listing most preferable to least. At the event, the announcements are made of whom each man chose to be his wife. The woman does not get a say in it whatsoever. She is stuck with whoever picks her. Isabella Reyes is unfortunately sixteen, and she is terrified. She grew up in the Facility, a home for orphans born to women of the lower class. Little does she know that the claim that is made for her hand will change everything. *Disclaimer: If you think this is a werewolf novel, you are very much wrong! I didn't realize the title's connection to werewolf lore until MONTHS after I was halfway into it. But please, give it a try if you were fooled! It's a mixture of fantasy, romance, and dystopian that has yet to disappoint!* Book cover credits to @Teddy_Ninja Thank you so much for the brilliance you have created for my story!
