It's 1972, and Jaroldine Anne is a 17 year old girl living in the village of Geromel, Bennington in the heart of Vermont. Her family knows that once she turns 18, she needs to get married; that was the main rule in Geromele. The Anne family want what's best for their daughter, but Jaroldine isn't the average obedient daughter this village is used to, she would not cave into the village's pressure. She wants to find herself and her forever person on her own, but with the wrath of her village's expectations, that could lead to things worse than she could imagine. Time is running out, and as winter is coming around, so is Jaroldines long awaited 18th birthday. What will happen to this village when someone finally challenges their sadistic rules?
