New York City isn't the safest place with a rather high crime rate. But it's the state of opportunity. When a 15 year old named Y/N moves to New York with their family, they have a hard time adjusting to the new city life after having lived in a small town their whole life. With their parents' new jobs they have no choice but to comply and leave their old life behind. When Y/N gets into some basic city trouble with some not-so-nice mutants and yokai, they end up meeting a team of turtles and one seems to catch their eye. Red becomes their new favorite color and they get to know the group and make some new friends. While intimidating at first, the biggest of the four is a real sweetheart. Y/N can feel themself falling but refuses to believe it. Will the mutate ever like them back? Will Y/N except it? (it starts off kind of slow, with a bit of character build up, but I promise it'll get going around chapter 2-3! Casey and Donnie are just trying to enjoy their romance without April getting in the way, thanks to the help of Donnie's brothers, it is possible.
