Fire, air, water, and earth are the four elements. There are only two people in the whole world who have the ability to bend these four elements. The Chie and the Avatar. The Avatar was created to bring balance to the world, and not too soon after the Chie was created to bring balance to the Avatar. The First Avatar, Wan, combined the Avatar's spirit, Raava, with his dying lover's soul. This act created a new spirit named Zhījǐ, ever since then the Avatar and the Chie's souls have been intertwined. It's destiny that an Avatar and Chie would end up together... and destiny cannot be changed no matter what.

Anaya is Aangs other half. Not related by blood but related by spirit. Like the avatar, Anaya can enter the spirit world and go into the avatar state but she cannot controll all four elements, only the element she was born with. However when Aang runs away from the the Southern Air Temple she chases after him, trying to get him back. But they were both caught in a horrible storm and were frozen in ice for 100 years. When they awoke they find themselves in a world of war. And with the help of two Watertribe companions Katara and Sokka. They fight to bring the world back to peace.

When Aang was born a surprise happened. His mother gave birth to a sister. Twins were rare in the Air Nomads, nonetheless identical twins. Being identical, the monks knew that they had to be separated. They kept her away from Aang for they didn't want him to be distracted with a sibling for males are the main fighters for Air Nomads and girls were almost always left out unless they show great potential. Will they ever meet?

Kya is now taken captive to the Fire Nation and faced with choosing herself over her beliefs. Siding with Azula for a better chance at survival Kya suffers with the torment that if living within the Royal Palace walls, and reminded every day of the pain she's facing for loving Zuko. Along the way she meets someone who helps her learn that she never regretting a thing. Realizing the only thing she can keep trusting is change.
