As he stared blankly at the ceiling, reliving that day, he could only think, "I could have done so much more" Wilbur knows he could've- no should have done more to prevent it. If he had just done things differently it wouldn't have turned out this way. He shouldn't have snuck out that night. He should've just stayed home with them He should have picked up the phone He should have at least said goodbye But he didn't, and it was far too late now. Or, After his mother dies in an accident, Wilbur blames himself, and can't seem to move on from her death, But when he meets a kid named Tommy at work, things start to get better. Tommy, a normal 17 year old. He has good grades, some friends, an hobby and a home- well screw that. Tommy's parents sadly passed away after a plain crash. Since then tommy had to live on the streets, still going to school to be able to get a good job later. The only thing that's making him happy is watching his favorite streamer, Wilbur soot. What will happen if wilbur's fridge is again empty, and when wilbur was about to go to the grocery stor he see's the poor little boy getting beat up.

Brighton did not reach Tommy's expectations. He has no choice but to make the best out of this year, constantly searching for replacements of lost friendships and interests. Suddenly, he's the optimist in this situation. With his own worsening state, Wilbur attempts to understand the brain of this lost teenage boy.

Basically Wilbur and Tommy being little shits in the forest. Tommy is part raccoon and Wilbur is a cat hybrid. Also Tommy is 9 and Wilbur is 14 (: Here's a synopsis for ya: When Wilbur runs away from home, he meets an unlikely friend. A half child half raccoon named Tommy. He and Tommy are both runaways for different reasons but one thing connected them.. The forest. The forest is where they live and cause mayhem. They get into lots of trouble and they were even separated at one point, but a promise is a promise. "I'll always be right by your side" There will be some triggers in this story I will put at the beginning of the chapter but as an overview, here's the main ones: • Bad parenting (I don't think it can really count as abuse but lmk??) • Bullying • Mental health issues • Trauma/flashbacks [Based off a chapter in my story "Angstyboisinc. " called 'Scrappy Acquaintances'] This will be angst/fluff with a happy ending.
