Book 1 of the "What Is There To Do?" series. Rainkit is what is considered a mistake. Her parents, clan, and any other cat that looks at her face flinches. She is renamed on her mother's request, and is an outcast from everything she's ever known. She finally finds a home and a family in a place she never expects, accepts who she is, and love sprouts in the strangest of places at the most ironic of times it seems.

Dawncurl is born into perfection. Her mother always told her that life was a blessing and that she should never take it for granted. However since the birth of she and her brother, she was instantly cast aside by her father who favored her brother and claimed he would be heir to the throne. However, the roles will soon reverse when Dawncurl is discovered to be a skilled strategist and combatant. Not just skilled, but a prodigy. With this information she is finally given the praise she's always craved from her father. Along the journey, she finds out her family isn't so perfect and she will become the victim of it all. But when hostile lions from outside her own pride come to threaten the only home Addie has ever known...family ties slowly come apart, until no one knows who to trust.
