When Stiles is kicked out of the pack because he is too weak--even though he knows the real reason behind it--he goes to New York to stay with his cousins, Alec and Isabelle Lightwood over the summer. Once there because he knows that his dads side of the family are all shadowhunters, he begins to train like one. When Stiles returns to Beacon Hills with a completely new look and a bunch of new friends, his former pack wants to know what he did over the summer and who the new group of people are.
