It's there he finds out one thing they didn't cover the night they met, she's also a cop, and when they end up working together certain previous encounters might come back into play, or can they keep it so it will stay as a one-night thing? - alternate universe/canon divergence where jay and hailey met before 4x21 and then follows the canon timeline of season 5 onwards with a small twist - - mentions of linstead in earlier chapters and upzek in later chapters -
