Kyoka Jirou's mother died in a fatal accident. Her mother was the only person (aside from middle school bullies) that knew she was a lesbian. Faced with grief for the person she loved most, Kyoka's mental health went down the drain. Momo Yaoyorozu was raised in an abusive household. Her parents would beat her when she didn't reach their expectations, hence why she was a straight-A student. They had her life planned out for her; according to them, she was to marry Todoroki, her childhood friend, at a certain age, and have a set number of children. She's never told anyone about her situation at home; she's bottled it up for years. Both girls met in their first year at UA and have been best friends since. They're now 18 and in their final year. Kyouka Jirou and Momo Yaoyorozu haven't properly met due to their overlapping schedules and different lifestyles. Their paths slowly start to align after a mini locker mishap caused by Kyouka's friend, Denki Kaminari. Slowly after, Kyouka and Momo find themselves sending letters to each other's lockers. With each passing letter the two girls, who couldn't seem more different, find a line of similarity as they indulge themselves in knowing the person behind the locker. All is done without truly knowing who the other is. But maybe that's for the best because sometimes the person behind the locker is the last person to expect. No Quirk AU!
