Odashen. Kamdemahn. Giant's Bane. Oldest One. On the worlds of the Avatar Alliance I am called many names and I am considered many things. Some see me as a holy warrior with a purpose so powerful, not even Death can stop me. Others think me a tormented wanderer, driven mad by a horrible fate and left to travel the wastes for eternity. Yet others see me as a soulless creature of otherworldly vengeance, returning from the grave to wreak havoc on my enemies. From my point of view, I am ALL of these things. Yet, I am none of them. My name is Max Niekro and I am Risen. I have been summoned back from the grave for one purpose and one purpose alone. I'm here to kill Velkin. Join the Risen juggernaut in this sequel to Risen: Darklight and the third book in the Risen saga as he continues his quest to defend Earth and the living of the galaxy by taking his war to the stars, where he will face even greater challenges to his effort to rid the universe of the rapacious Velkin, a giant alien race bent on consuming every living sentient being they find before sucking out their home world's life force.

In the year 3018, the humans are fighting a losing war against a genocidal clan of xenophobic aliens, hellbent on wiping humanity out. Humanity's many colonized worlds have united under a single banner to aid in the protection of the species; thus, the United Worlds Coalition was formed. Five painful years later, humanity is still losing the war against the aliens that call themselves the "Creed of Apex." Apex, the god of war in their belief, apparently unified the many races that make up the Creed against a common enemy; the unlucky humanity that passed through a system controlled by the Creed. A team of scientists has gotten together, and they have formulated a final resort that may be able to aid the war effort; the Titan Project. The scientists gathered a group of 200 likely candidates for the project. They all age from 7-10, and all exhibit the traits needed in a Titan. They were all taken from their homes and brought to a military planet on the inner section of human space.

BOOK ONE OF THE WILLOW FOREST ELEMENTISTS SAGA Sasha used to think her life was abnormal enough. She lived on the streets. She'd got out of nine care homes. Then, she discovers she's an Elementist: she has the ability to control one of the seven mythical Elements, and before she knows it she unintentionally explodes a warehouse, gets taken to a forest full of really random wildlife by three thirteen-year-olds with a helicopter and has to find this old necklace thing, which makes her old life suddenly look tame. And the absolute strange-ness is only just beginning. ~ Thank you very much to @ADesperateWriter for making the totally awesome cover! Tales of loathsome kings and prophesied saviors aren't so appealing when you are a royal bastard of prophecy... Evonalé Yunan is supposed to somehow free her grandmother's enslaved people, but she's merely a child, and her father is the powerful fire mage who subjugates the realm. She has therefore fled home, her half-siblings, and the father who really should've been her uncle. Unfortunately, it's the middle of winter. Fortunately, following her mother's directions has put her in another king's hunting grounds. To Evonalé's bewilderment, that king picks her up and gives her a place in his castle. The prince seeks her out to tease and befriend. Then one of Cook's daughters starts teaching her magic, and a scullery maid proves herself immune to poison. Evonalé isn't the only one with secrets. ----------- Followed by "A Fistful of Earth"

But his whole world changes when he and his friends find themselves caught in the aftermath of a major terrorist attack on San Francisco. In the wrong place at the wrong time, Marcus and his crew are apprehended by the Department of Homeland Security and whisked away to a secret prison where they’re mercilessly interrogated for days. When the DHS finally releases them, Marcus discovers that his city has become a police state where every citizen is treated like a potential terrorist. He knows that no one will believe his story, which leaves him only one option: to take down the DHS himself.
