It is best that you play the games to get a sense of what these characters are like before reading these stories. These stories make for a good supplement for those who wanted more from the game, as certain story themes or character traits will be emphasized or subdued. No OCs, just trying to be as canon accurate as possible.

Sunny will never forget Basil's smile. Two years after moving away, Sunny has saved up enough money from his part time job to visit his childhood town during the summer. Having realized that Basil may be more than just his friend, he resolves to help Basil through their shared trauma and to unravel the feelings they have for each other. But when he learns that some scars may be too deep to heal, Sunny must confront a new Something that has Basil trapped inside its dark web. It'll be worth it just to see Basil's smile again.
