Adrien Agreste is his best friend, he wants Marc to practice talking to people so he could get over his anxiety. If that's even possible...So Adrien comes up with a plan. Sure, Marc isn't going to learn overnight, but Adrien wants him to try at least. That is when Adrien Invites Marc to Chloe's big party. Marc is indecisive because of his past with Chloe, he isn't sure how he could deal with her let alone everyone else at the party. Nervous still, Marc says yes. Once they arrive at the party everything doesn't go quite 'to plan'. Chloe shows off her new boyfriend, which is Nathaniel, he doesn't like Chloe, but his parents do. He is forced to be with her or Chloe will MAKE SURE Nathaniel suffers. When Marc is struggling at the party that catches Nathaniel's eyes. When he helps Marc survive the party he sees something in Marc no one else had. He realizes he had fallen for him.
