In a time before Hollownest, the lands of this kingdom were controlled by a variety of powerfull tribes. The most powerfull of them being the mothtribe with their god. Radience. A situation that would only change with her defeat at the hands of the pale king. But none shall hold Hollownest for long. And the pale King sune realises, that old enemies never truly vanish. (This is a fanfiction to the game Hollow Knight, trying to explain Hollownests rise and fall.
