Starts with Nightmare being a starter king and founding his teammates; Dust, Error, Horror, Killer and Cross. Nightmare promised them a better life than the life they have now, in exchange they become his teammates and obey him as a king. And the five sanses trust him. The people in the village that was connected with Nightmare castle wasn't agreeing Nightmare to be their king, so Nightmare tries his best to make them agree by making a shield that cannot be seen to protect the village from any harm. the village are full of villains like him too but they wasn't and still not agreeing him to be a king for them. One day, in Nightmare's birthday, his teammates celebrates it by thanking him. one by one, they thanked him for finding them and they are not regretting trusting Nightmare. And that's the day where Nightmare told them why he promises them a better life than before. That day, they did a group hugs and that's the day where they suddenly got necklaces, but Nightmare also got a crown. Not just a necklace. They thought they have some special connection in all of them that makes the Necklaces magically appeared. The universe is spilt by two factions- Humans and Monsters and then two subfactions- Postivitives and negativities. Nightmare is the ruler of the Negative side and his brother? Well he WAS the ruler of the positive side, but in a war he was overwhelmed by a human and then that very same human that took his place as king of positives! Nightmare's gang of servants and loyal followers know he has been sick for a bit. By a bit I mean four years, but when the king of the positive side comes for a truce and wants to see their king they must share their king's secret sickness with the human. Bad or good news? BAD.... Now the kingdoms are in peace and this human wants a little more than peace with the two kingdoms.... (Cover Art not mine)

But oddly enough he feels lonely, I mean it must be hard when his only friend Error is always working because of the stupid Star Sans. One day Nightmare feels an odd negativity that he hasn't felt before and checks it out, whatever he faces in this AU he'll have to deal with plenty of other times. But luckily beside him is his Bestfriend (Error) ready to step in and help whenever he isn't busy.
