Beberapa tahun kemudian saat negara-negara besar sedang sibuk membuat armada gadis kapal mereka, hal yang tidak diharapkan terjadi. Kembali datang namun berbeda dari pertama kali mereka datang, mereka membawa armada yang ratusan di seluruh lautan dan peringatan menyerang wilayah pesisir dan kepulauan di seluruh dunia. Setelah serangan mematikan itu DK PBB menginisasi serangan balasan dan pemusnahan terhadap para Siren. Mereka menamakan Operasi Hiu atau serangan balik terhadap Siren. Namun operasi gagal total hanya 20 kapal yang berhasil kembali, juga armada komandan gugur ikut dalam pertempuran. Semenjak itu lautan menjadi zona hitam untuk pelayaran dan status siaga tinggi ditetapkan di seluruh dunia. Disaat keputus asaan mulai melanda dunia, ada secerca harapan muncul. Saat muncul laporan sebuah armada sirene dihancurkan tanpa tersisa dan gadis kapal yang tidak ada yang terluka sama sekali ketika bertempur. Mulai saat menyadari bahwa pihak menyadari bahwa gadis-gadis ini adalah ujung tombak umat manusia untuk melawan siren.
