Ouran High School is a well-known school in Japan, a school for the rich, the powerful and the intelligent. Though one fateful day Ouran's principal and administration agree to open up a new program-a baking program-with this new fact gives an instant spark upon Saiki's sweet tooth. As he works his way up into Ouran Private Academy for the success of getting into the school's newly added program, Saiki (being a commoner and all) also catches a spark with the Host Club, and it doesn't take a psychic to know things will fall into a disastrous circle of clichés from there. (I am a manga reader and Anime watcher for both animes, details from both the show and manga will show up in this book!)

Three ancient cities: Aurum - the City of Gold, Argentum - the City of Silver, and Aestor - the City of Brass. All living in harmony for centuries, developing, thriving, sharing resources, and depending on one another. Until a slip-up occurs during a council meeting, and Argentum's citizens realize they'll never amount to anything other than second behind Aurum and first to Aestor - a crumbling city forgotten in recent years as each metropolis closed its doors to one another, the trust broken as Argentum's leaders start to become hungry for more. And their intent? Eliminate Aestor. What does the decrepit city have to lose? Lottie Fane, a common thief born and raised in Aestor agrees with Argentum, along with a majority of the community of thieves risking life and limp to help provide for their families and friends. However, instead of thinking they would all be relocated to either adjacent city, it becomes apparent that Argentum wants to bury Aestor, along with its citizens. Join Lottie on a jaw-clenching journey in this neo-victorian brass city as she sacrifices her morality to provide for her poverty-stricken family, and battles the instinct all thieves face in Aestor - stand and fight for her city, or run - instead - for a freedom most longed for.
