Aunt May was overseas for a hard-earned vacation, and she was to be gone for 7 months. Originally, the idea was for Peter to stay with Tony and the Avengers at the Avengers Tower and Compound. But alas, the team was sent for a month-long mission, and unfortunately, Peter wasn't allowed to go. Natasha being Natasha, called her good friend Melinda May, and requested that her team take care of Peter. So one day May decided that Peter should meet his aunt, Natasha Romanoff, AKA Black Widow. The two grew close to the fact that Natasha was now dubbed as 'Aunty Tasha' or 'Mama Spider'. When Nat and Bucky got together, Nat brought Bucky to meet Peter. An unfortunate incident left Peter family-less, until Nat and Bucky took Peter under their wings. Set after Civil War, no Infinity War or Endgame, or any movies that happened after Civil War. The X-Avengers were pardoned, the Avengers know that Peter is Spider-Man. Peter is 15 in this fic, so takes place in 2016. The timeline probably makes no sense but whatever.
