They aren't biologically related, however. Ilene Grace, Skye's birth mother, died during labor. Pregnant council member Abby and her engineer husband Jake Griffin asked the council if they could take Skye in as their own. With no other choice, the chancellor and council granted this wish, therefore breaking the law. Some people were furious, others were more understanding. Skye grew up with the Griffin's and is only a few months older than Clarke. Upon arriving on the ground, she meets stone-faced asshole Bellamy Blake. He's a complete jerk. The two butt heads from the jump but Skye can't deny the uncontrollable attraction she feels for him. What will happen when the two begin to fall for each other? She learned how to survive on the ground with the people that saved her. There came a day, though, when her people from the sky came down. They landed in the forest near where she had originally landed. She was curious, but her new people were afraid. She tried to help keep the peace. While doing so, she found herself intrigued by one of the Ark's leaders; Bellamy Blake.
