(like me) Having the rarest of all power--the ability to heal--Sheena was subjected to the mercy of the scientists in Leda Corp Research Center, until a mysterious man saved her. The problem is, will she be able to save him in return? +++ Setting in the universe of The Darkest Minds, this is a story about an original character's journey of learning how to be brave, with the helps from some friends (also original characters). Some of the book characters would show up mostly in later parts of the story (except for one, who showed up as soon as the first chapter), and the story itself is tightly knitted to the events in The Darkest Minds book series, so one do need to read them in order to enjoy this. Also, even though I tried my best to not contradict the canon, there are still some fundamental elements in this story that has to go against the grain. (i.e. Cole's death) You might notice that the chapter titles are all Beatles songs, but I actually didn't put them there as a playlist; in other words, you don't have to listen to the title song while reading the chapter.
