Reki confessed to his bestfriend in middle school Langa, but was told he was "Sorry" and Langa left Japan afterwards. They are coincidentally reunited during their high school year which is 5 years apart. Although the reunion should be joyous one, Reki had no longer wanted to be near Langa after thought of being rejected while Langa finally sorted out his feelings for Reki.
