this story starts out with Billy Hargrove transferring from California to Hawkins, the first time he laid his blue eyes on Eddie was when he saw him talking to some boy in class. Steve invited him to sit with them, and they became good friends, but Billy started feeling something towards Eddie. It was like something about the brunette made Billy feel like it wasn't gravity holding him down anymore. Also, he and Max had a good brother sister relationship, but sometimes max would be a little brat. After a while Billy and Eddie started dating, blah blah blah. You get the drift, right? Anyways. Steve Has liked Billy ever since he saw his car roll into his high school with his car engine blaring. Billy Has hated Steve ever since they meet when billy finds out that Steve likes him he decides to play a little game. But what if feelings get involved?

Billy was free from the mind flayer and went to sacrifice himself, the monster was killed once the gate was closed, Billy survived and was in the Hawkins hospital in recovery. Max would visit Billy and brought Steve along, Billy and Steve made up and started a friendship. Eleven went through the loss of hopper and leaves Hawkins with the byers family. Steve looks for a new job and Billy begins to change after elevens help with memories of his mother and the good guy he used to be. Him and Steve figure out their feelings as well.

This story happens after STRANGER THINGS season 3. So if you haven't watched it, beware of the SPOILERS.
