I could see the studious glow of his green eyes from across the room; even with the flashing neon lights and head-pounding music. And when I tried, I could not look away from his gaze. It's as if he was controlling the thoughts wandering through my brain, fixating on me and gluing my feet right there, stuck. Even though my heels made me a tall 6 foot in height, I still felt little and fragile to him. I continue to hold this glare as he strolls my way, not letting either of us break the intense eye contact. When he approaches, the words roll off his tongue like smooth velvet. "Can I get you a drink?"
