"There are two things that separate us, perfection and imperfection..." What if a tribe was run by perfection? Where failure is no option. That one mistake could end a life. Positions are won by strengths and there are no such things as flaws. Take every mistake, tripping, falling, failing, and erase it all. In this world, there's perfection. Nothing bad ever happens - after all, perfection means flawless. Being perfect is the only way to live and falling short of that expectation is unforgivable. That is Citrus' world. There's no betrayal, no heartache, no mistakes, no sickness, no deaths, and no unnecessary battles that force her to choose sides. All that's waiting for her is the bright sun, shining its golden beams onto her. Home to all perfect cats: the Tribe of Shining Suns. A shining, dark world where the perfect roam. But what happens to those who don't shine? As long as there is a sun, there are always shadows. Citrus has always thought of herself as a proud cat and wrinkles her nose at the sound of Imperfects; cats that suffer and starve in the shadows. Those cats stumble and fail yet try to spread their seeds in fresh soil, lingering around the world like an ongoing sickness. These disgraceful beings continue to rise no matter how much the sun burns them, stirring chaos in her perfect world. Like any infection, she knows her life will be better when the disgusting ticks are out of her fur. All she has to do is slaughter her way through in order to achieve perfection, but fighting this disease may risk her own life and worst of all - imperfection. "What's...wrong with her?" The queen cried, gathering her remaining kits together with her tail. The small kit she was referring to cowered under her mothers hateful gaze, having no idea why the she-cat was so afraid. What was wrong with her? "I-I don't understand.." She trailed off, looking towards her siblings for help. But they didn't. They too were afraid and confused. The queen suddenly pushed past her kits and snatched the isolated up from her paws. The she-kits mewling was ignored by her mother as the queen stomped around the clan camp, looking for a puddle. Luckily, it rained the night before and she shoved the kits face into a large pool of water gathering in front the medicine den. The she-kit looked down at the water and stared at her reflection. But she didn't see anything wrong. She was a spitting image of her mother! However, as she stared at her reflection long enough she saw a white splotch form on her face. After realizing this, her mother spat into her ear: "Your cursed, Ravenkit." ----- Ravenflight was always avoided by her clanmates, after mysterious white splotches began forming on her jet-black pelt. To make matters worse, there was a prophecy warning Moorclan that one of their warriors aren't who they think they are...as you might expect, everybody thought it was Ravenflight. However, when the clans newest member-and the only cat who cared about her-revealed himself to be the son of an enemy, Ravenflight must choose the clan who never wanted her, or the rogue clan who welcomed her with open, but bloody paws.
