The story of 3rd Life, stings Jimmy's head. He has tried talking to his seabling in law, Joel, but it's no help. Scott, on the other hand has just defeated Xornoth, his own brother. Knowing that Xornoth had blocked his childhood from his mind. Including his memories of 3rd Life. Can Jimmy get to Scott, before he is drowned in despair? Scott remembers the valley, their friends, the war and, most importantly... the final death of his husband. After the tragic loss of his husband, Scott is given a fresh start. As Empires starts, he makes it his mission to avoid Jimmy as much as possible. He worries that Jimmy hates him for not being able to save him during the 3rd life battle. All Jimmy wants to do is see Scott, but every time they make eye contact, Scott turns away quickly and leaves. Jimmy can't figure out why Scott's avoiding him and tries to talk to him. He starts to loose hope, but something happens that changes his mind. Could this be the beginning of something new? After 3rd life, Jimmy was made to forget all about Scott and who he was. His knew life isn't starting off too well when he starts having dreams and visions of a blue haired man that he can't recognize, later to find out they are his memories slowly coming back to him. Scott feels this strange emptiness as Empires starts, feeling like something is wrong. He wanted to talk to his husband about this, but something was stopping him from going to see the codfather. Unlike Jimmy, Scott remembered everything and was determined to find out why he was the only one who kept their memories. Chaos ensues when a curtain purple haired girl appears in Rivendell and Scott's secrets are nearly revealed to Jimmy. It is about time for a family reunion when a long lost brother returns to Rivendell after being missing for nearly three years, but he's not the same person Scott once knew and idolized. Xornoth being back meant Scott now had another secret to keep, but keeping a secret is kind of hard when you don't even know what the secret is. It was about time he learnt about his past... How will Jimmy react when he finds out Scott's biggest secret? How will Scott react when he finds out Xornoth's biggest secret?
