Look, I didn't know I was a witch. I didn't know that the Harry Potter world was real. I didn't know that I possessed powers Voldemort wanted. All my life I thought Harry Potter was a children's book series and Harry was a brave guy with a scar and Dumbledore was a complicated person and Hermione was a know-it-all and Draco didn't have a choice and Ron was our king and Voldemort was a bald, noseless guy hungry for power. I didn't know that somewhere in the universe, alongside normal muggle life, it was actually happening. So naturally when Rubeus Hagrid hands me my letter of Third year, my reply was, "Are you kidding me?" But he was not.
