For Oikawa, success served as somewhat of a drug. For Kageyama, it was not the success which thrilled him, but rather the prospect of being able to walk the same ground as those he idolized in the hope of acceptance. Despite the years which have passed, little appears to change. and Kageyama once again finds himself feeling both lost and satisfied. If it was a red string of fate which connected them, then Oikawa would constantly be dragging Kageyama around by it and bending him to his will. For once, Kageyama craves the satisfaction of knowing he has the same effect on Oikawa.

Oikawa and Kageyama were kind of in a relationship in middle school. Kind of. the problem was, they weren't really sure if what they felt was true. it was even harder to determine with Oikawa constantly going out with girls so they didn't suspect he was dating Tobio. their relationship got messy and they ended up breaking it off as Oikawa went off to highschool. but the feelings never faded for both, but now they're afraid to admit that what they felt was true. on top of that, Oikawa is convinced Kageyama likes Hinata and Kageyama is convinced that Oikawa has moved on. what a mess.

This is my first haikyuu fic, I love the anime and I love the ship Oikage I hope you enjoy Oikawa hates Kageyama. He hates him when he asks for a jump serve, he hates him when he stares at him and he hates him most when he can't stop staring back. They both have done and do things that they regret, they go through a lot of troubles and the only good thing that comes out of it is them. Just barely though...
